Blank names by length
A blank name needs enough invisible characters to pass the minimum length of the game, so each row below gives the same character from 1 to 10 copies. Pick the shortest one the game accepts; the label shows how many blanks you copy.
Hangul Filler (U+3164)
Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800)
No-Break Space (U+00A0)
Ideographic Space (U+3000)
Hangul Choseong Filler (U+115F)
Hangul Jungseong Filler (U+1160)
Halfwidth Hangul Filler (U+FFA0)

Blank names with symbols
A blank between two symbols gives a name that shows only the frame, such as a pair of hearts with nothing inside. These use the Hangul filler, the blank most games keep, with frames and symbols from the NickGen symbol library.
Dots in the button labels mark where the blank sits; the copied text has no dots. If you want more than blanks, the Blood Strike space name guide shows how to add one gap between two words.
More blank names from players
These blank and near-blank names come from the NickGen symbol library, which collects combinations players already use. The label shows each blank as a dot so you can see what you copy.

Which blank works in which game
No blank character works in every game, because each name filter is different. The table lists every blank above with its Unicode name and what NickGen or the game community has confirmed, with the date.

Why some blanks get trimmed
Games trim blanks for two reasons: they cut ordinary spaces at the start and end of a name, and many run text through NFKC normalization first. NFKC turns the no-break space U+00A0 and the ideographic space U+3000 into a normal space, which is then trimmed, while the braille blank U+2800 passes through unchanged. That is why U+2800 often survives where the others fail.
Some games also reject names that contain no visible letter at all. In that case, frame the blank with a symbol from the list above, or add one letter.
How to paste an invisible name
- Tap a blank in the table or the length list; the toast confirms the copy.
- Open the rename box in your game and clear the old name.
- Long-press and choose Paste. The box looks empty, but the counter moves.
- Confirm. If the game says the name is too short or empty, try a longer blank or the braille blank U+2800.
MadOut2 invisible name
MadOut2 is an open-world driving and action game from MadOut Games; its PC version, MadOut2 BigCityOnline, left Steam on September 25, 2020, and the mobile game is now called MadOut 2: Grand Auto Racing. NickGen has not tested blank names in MadOut2, so start with the Hangul filler U+3164 and, if it is removed, try the braille blank U+2800.
FAQ
Why does my invisible name disappear?
The game trims spaces or normalizes the text first. The no-break space and ideographic space turn into normal spaces under NFKC and get trimmed; try the braille blank U+2800 or the Hangul filler U+3164.
Is an invisible name allowed in games?
Each game sets its own rules. Some treat blank names as a bug and reset them after an update, so keep a normal name ready.
What is the Hangul filler?
The Hangul filler U+3164 is a Korean character that has no visible shape. Games that accept Korean letters often keep it, which is why it is the most used blank.
Does an invisible name work in MadOut2?
NickGen has not tested it in MadOut2. Try the Hangul filler first, then the braille blank, and check the preview before you confirm.
