The Origin: From Frustration to Solution
Back in 2024, I was working at YGame—one of Vietnam’s largest gaming platforms. Every day, I interacted with thousands of gamers, and I noticed a recurring problem: existing nickname generators were slow, cluttered, and uninspiring.
With over 5 years of experience building web applications (previously UI Developer at MISA and Gaming Platform Developer at YGame), I knew we could do much better. So I started coding the first version of NickGen.com right from my apartment in Saigon.
